“ The staff are very kind and patient. The muffins are Great. There are plenty of drink options for coffee drinkers and non-coffee drinkers, and each drink offers a unique taste of battle creek, Mi. ”
“ First trip but we will definitely be back. Centrally located to downtown BC and close to the hospital. Atmosphere is relaxing and fun. Diverse clientele where anyone and everyone will feel welcome including kids. Coffee and food were tasty and fresh. It feels like Mom or Dad or abuela made it for you - if they are a super good cook! We had a Breakfast Quesadilla, Breakfast Burrito, & Egg Caprese Bagel, Orange Mocha, Iced Peppermint Coffee, plain black coffee & a Pomegranate Lemonade. All were delicious. Only thing they could add would be a few bottles of different hot sauces from around the world to the self-serve coffee area. Though their housemade sauces are great too, especially the creamy chipotle one. A few years ago Battle Creek's downtown was boring and dreary with very few good options for food and coffee. Cafe Rica is such a great addition. I live 30 minutes away in the Zoo but will stop here whenever I am close by for a coffee, a meal or just to work on my laptop. Highly, highly recommend. ”

I drink decaf and usually it's not as good as caffeinated because freshness and all that. “ Cafe Rica is a Battle Creek staple. This is easily my go to spot for work meetings, coffee breaks, and delicious meals. I recently had their potato, steak and egg bowl. As usual, it was delicious. Perfect amount of sauce and ingredients. The staff is always very friendly and checked in on us as we got through our meal. I always look forward to spending time here and couldn’t recommend it more. ”
“ Early in the morning. I needed something healthy and comfortable to sit down to enjoy a good breakfast. Glad that I found this cafe. So many varieties of food items for a cafe. The MacBeth sandwich is pretty good. Good ingredients of eggs and greens and balsamic jam. Light yet have plenty of flavor from this combination. Parking is pretty easy early in the morning. Service is pretty quick maybe lunch time will have much more customers. Good coffee, good environment with all the art work and big glass window to look outside. Problem is that their wifi is not very fast, so uploading file was slow. Other than that everything was wonderful ”
